Welcome to the Dog Days of Summer where we are watching the sultry days go by in a cozy hammock under a shady tree (insert sound of skipping record), where we are always creating ultra cool ideas for your holiday celebration.

In a non-COVID year, office gatherings, grand ballrooms, urban warehouses and rustic barns are ideal venues for holiday soirees. This season, we tip our hats to some seasonal social distance experiences and nostalgic visits to good, old-fashioned Denver outdoor holiday happenings.

The metro Denver area has a myriad of iconic festive outdoor events packed with loads of glee for the entire family.

Cheers to a few of our favorites!

It’s A Wonderful Life at Santa’s Village

There’s a magical and nostalgic feeling in the air when surrounded by millions of twinkling lights, illuminated sculptures, carolers, holiday classics featured on the big screen, and Santa’s Village beckoning you to peek inside.

Return with us now to those exciting days of yesteryear when the entire family piled into the station wagon and headed to the drive-in. Strolling carolers clad in faux fur hats and muffs stroll the snow-covered pathways lined with evergreens and shimmering birch trees. Meander through Santa’s Village while sipping on mugs of piping hot coco and cider. Stop and say hello to old Saint Nicholas himself before visiting the festive village store fronts where your dinner will be ready to pop in the oven when you get home.

Before departing, you’ll enjoy some of your favorite scenes of George Bailey, Clarence, and Mr. Potter starring in the 1946 classic, It’s A Wonderful Life.
