Ingredient List
- 100 Proof vodka; 750 ml bottle
- 10 Meyer lemons
- 2 Cups sugar
- 2 Cups water
How to Construct
To construct this Limoncello cocktail, peel the lemons and place in lidded jar, covering all peels with vodka. When peeling, make sure to utilize the skin only, not the pith. Infuse the vodka for two to three weeks in a dark, cool space. Strain infused vodka into a mixing bowl. Create simple syrup with equal parts sugar and water, boiling down to a syrupy consistency is achieved; let cool. Mix simple syrup into strained vodka and transfer into a food-safe decorative glass bottle with stopper. Refrigerate after bottling. Limoncello can be enjoyed by itself or as an ingredient in a cocktail. Also suggested mixing with club soda for a limoncello spritzer.
